Virginia APA Expenditure/Revenue/Budget and eVA Procurement Data FY2003–FY2016 (Ledger Lab Research Archive)
收藏资源简介:
This archive contains Virginia state government financial and procurement data used as the empirical basis for The Architecture of Economic State (Twitchell), a nine-paper monograph examining minimum-cost accounting architectures for financial systems. The archive preserves two datasets from Virginia open data sources: 1. Virginia APA Expenditure, Revenue, and Budget Data (FY2003–FY2016) Source: Virginia Auditor of Public Accounts, datapoint.apa.virginia.gov Monthly CSV files for each fiscal year covering all state agency expenditures, revenues, and budget appropriations. Fields include agency code, fund, object class, sub-program, vendor name, and amount. 2. Virginia eVA Procurement / Purchase Order Data (FY2001–FY2018) Source: Virginia Department of General Services, eVA electronic procurement system, data.virginia.gov Tab-delimited files with one row per purchase order line. Fields include PO number, agency, vendor ID/name/address, NIGP commodity code and description, quantity, unit price, and unit of measure. Known data gaps: FY2005 and FY2009 eVA files contain zero rows (published as empty files by the source). FY2003–FY2015 eVA files are no longer available on data.virginia.gov as of 2026; this archive is the only public copy. FY2003–FY2016 APA expenditure files remain on datapoint.apa.virginia.gov but are archived here for long-term reproducibility. These are Virginia state government records and are public domain. Vendor business contact information (email addresses, postal addresses) is included as published in the original government source. NIGP commodity code descriptions are reproduced only as embedded fields in transaction rows, not as a standalone code table. Keywords: Virginia, government accounting, procurement, expenditure, purchase orders, eVA, APA, fiscal data, public domain, ledger, financial systems research
