San Antonio Valley Sample 3 (SAV03 Ponderosa Pine W.P.#011)

The project goal is to investigate the past climatic variability on a local micro and lower mesoscale level with a focus on precipitation cyclicity and intensity using proxy data obtained from dendrochronological (tree ring) analysis. The major species for this analysis work is pinus ponderosa.本研究项目旨在以局地微尺度及低层中尺度为研究范畴，利用树轮年代学（dendrochronological）分析获取的代用资料，探究历史时期的气候变率特征，重点聚焦降水的周期性与强度变化。本次分析所采用的主要研究物种为美国黄松（Pinus ponderosa）。
