资源简介:
There has been no mass media communication (apart from PSI condom commercials) on HIV, CT, PMTCT, ART and FP since PSI-Kenya conducted a urban-center TRaC survey in 2007. In October of 2008, the HIV department began airing the SIRI edutainment soap opera to impart basic knowledge on each topic and to guide viewers to the public sector clinical services. The first season has completed one complete run and will begin the second run in November of 2009. The purpose of the Tracking Resul ts Continuously (TRaC) survey among men and women of reproductive age in urban and peri-urban areas of Kenya is to provide evidence for monitoring the implementation of PSI-Kenya's SIRI edutainment soap opera. The soap opera delivers educational messages on basic HIV knowledge, CT, PMTCT, and ART, as well as family planning. The data gathered through the 2009 TRaC survey will be analyzed according to PSI's Performance Framework (Appendix 1) and presented in the PSI Research Dashboard. The Dashboard is a set of standardized tables for segmenting populations, monitoring trends on key population and service delivery indicators, and evaluating program effectiveness.
