Master plan for the use and management of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve

The first Rector Plan for the Use and Management of the URDAIBAI Biosphere Reserve was approved by the Basque Government by Decree 242/1993 (B.O.P.V. No. 233 of 7 December 1993). The Rector Plan currently in force has been approved by Decree 139/2016 on September 27, 2016.It is the normative document that orders the activities to be carried out in the non-urbanizable land of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve from a sustainability approach so that the territory we use can enjoy it the following generations. To do so, it zonifies the territory and establishes the permitted or prohibited uses for each area.
