A-melding

Reported salary and employment relations with the Norwegian Tax Administration, NAV and Statistics Norway (SSB). The reporting is collected in the a-melding and is submitted each month by everyone who pays wages, pensions and other benefits. The a-melding contains information about salary and benefits, in addition to the status of all employment relationships. The information in the data set is those of any applicable information that the employer has reported, and the information may therefore change at any time. — Purpose: The purpose of the a-melding is to facilitate that declarants (employers, etc.) can effectively fulfil their obligations to provide information about individuals’ (income recipients) income and employment and tax deduction information, and to give government agencies access to the information reported from the data subject.
