COVID_19 Contact Tracing Canton of Zurich from 14.5.2020 to 30.3.2022

The Canton of Zurich Health Directorate publishes collected data on the contagion context of SARS-CoV-2 positively tested persons in the Canton of Zurich as part of the cantonal contact tracing. Due to the high number of cases during the second pandemic wave, the data from 22.10.2020 to 31.12.2020 could not be collected to an extent that would allow satisfactory interpretations. A new data collection tool was introduced in December 2020 and the figures have been collected ever since. In 2020, only “unambiguous” contagion pathways were differentiated according to the contagion context (own household, workplace, etc.) and updated rolling over the last 14 days. From 4.1.2021 onwards, the data will be differentiated between “unambiguous”, “presumed” and “not questioned” and the data will be updated once a week (on Monday each) for the past calendar week. The data for the years 2020 and 2021 are therefore only partially comparable.
