Effect of tempol, cisplatin and their combination on the growth of solid Ehrlich carcinoma 72 h after starting treatment.

Mice with a palpable solid tumor mass (100 mm3) were given a single i.p. injection of cisplatin (25 mg/kg) or tempol orally in a dose of 100 mg/kg/day or a combination of tempol and cisplatin. The change in tumor volume was measured after 3 days using a Vernier caliper.
