This dataset contains CTD and ship navigational data collected during leg 1 of the Chemosynthetic Life in the Gulf of Mexico during June 2002 mission aboard the R/V Seward Johnson II to explore and characterize deep sea ecosystems.本数据集收录了2002年6月开展的"墨西哥湾化能合成生命（Chemosynthetic Life in the Gulf of Mexico）"科考任务第一航段中，搭载R/V 瑟沃德·约翰逊二世号（R/V Seward Johnson II）开展深海生态系统勘探与特征表征工作时采集的CTD（温盐深仪，Conductivity-Temperature-Depth）数据及船舶导航数据。
