Demographic Projections (PD) are estimates of the future population, in the short and medium term, based on knowledge of demographic phenomena and using demographic indicators of mortality, fertility and migration. Population figures by age and sex are projected under various hypotheses called scenarios, both for the whole of the Basque Country and for each of its historical territories.
