The gene expression profile of JAR cells co-cultured with NK cells.

Immune cells play a critical role in cancer progression. In choriocarcinoma, the importance of natural killer (NK) cells has been highlighted, but their impact remains unclear. This study analyzed gene expression changes in choriocarcinoma cells when co-cultured with NK cells in vitro. Overall design: JAR cells were co-cultured with NK cells in the presence of 100 IU/mL IL-2 at a ratio of 5:1. As a control, JAR cells were cultured with 100 IU/mL IL-2 without NK cells. After 24 hours of incubation, JAR cells were isolated using flow cytometry, and total RNA was extracted with the miRNeasy Mini Kit. Subsequently, mRNA-sequencing was performed.
