Coastal Data System - Waves (Cairns)

Measured and derived wave parameters from data collected by a wave monitoring buoy anchored at Cairns. \r\nFor more information please refer to [www.qld.gov.au/waves](https://www.qld.gov.au/waves). \r\n Field names; \r\nHs - Significant wave height, an average of the highest third of the waves in a record (26.6 minute recording period). \r\nHmax - The maximum wave height in the record. \r\nTz - The zero up-crossing wave period. \r\nTp - The peak energy wave period. \r\nPeak Direction - Direction (related to true north) from which the peak period waves are coming from. \r\nSST - Sea surface temperature as measured by a sensor embedded in the bottom of the buoy hull.本数据集包含由锚定于凯恩斯（Cairns）的波浪监测浮标采集的数据所得到的实测与衍生波浪参数。 如需了解更多信息，请参阅[www.qld.gov.au/waves](https://www.qld.gov.au/waves)。 各字段说明如下： Hs——有效波高（Significant wave height）：指单次记录（时长26.6分钟）内最高三分之一海浪的平均高度。 Hmax——记录内最大波高。 Tz——零上穿越波周期（zero up-crossing wave period）。 Tp——峰值能量波周期（peak energy wave period）。 Peak Direction——峰值周期海浪的来向（以真北为基准）。 SST——浮标船体底部内置传感器所测得的海表温度（Sea surface temperature）。
