Simões Theory: Branched Informational Continuity of Identity

This work introduces the Simões Theory, a conceptual framework proposing that conscious identity can be interpreted as a dynamic informational structure evolving through time. The theory suggests that at critical points of decision or system bifurcation, multiple informational continuities may emerge simultaneously, forming branched trajectories of identity. This proposal integrates concepts from information physics, complex systems theory, and contemporary studies of consciousness. The present preprint presents the conceptual foundations and diagrams describing the principle of branched informational continuity of identity.
