GovParti County Civic Health Dataset, United States, 2022–2024

The GovParti County Civic Health Dataset is a county-level cross-sectional dataset covering all 3,127 US counties. This public subset contains 87 variables drawn from 58 federal data sources across nine domains: civic participation, health, economic conditions, criminal justice, environment, federal program delivery, children and education, veterans, and demographic composition. The primary analytical construct is the County Civic Health Index, a composite measure of civic infrastructure presence and program access. Data sources include IRS Statistics of Income, CDC WONDER, EPA EJScreen (2023 archive), BJS, FEC, BLS QCEW, ACS, VA, Harvard Opportunity Insights, and Princeton Eviction Lab. This dataset is the empirical foundation for the GovParti Civic Health Series (Vols. 1-10, 2026).
