A balanced Windows behavioral dataset for ransomware detection. It contains 1,042 sandboxed executions—518 ransomware and 524 benign—captured in a Cuckoo Sandbox environment and represented by 247 numeric features. These features summarize key ransomware-relevant signals, including Windows API-call activity (e.g., process/service control, file creation/writes, socket/connect operations), file-system behavior, registry modifications (e.g., HKCU/HKLM …\Run persistence paths), and basic network events. Ground-truth labels are provided in the Sample_Type column (R = ransomware, G = goodware). The release contains feature data only (no live binaries) and is ready for training and evaluating behavior-based detection models.
