Distribution Data of Wildlife Survey Sites on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau (2023)

The Qinghai Tibet Plateau is a key habitat for wildlife, and in order to effectively protect the biodiversity of this ecologically fragile area, it is particularly important to conduct comprehensive research on the distribution of wildlife in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau region. This dataset contains the occurrence locations of wild animals recorded during a field survey conducted in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau region in 2023. During the survey period, we drove along a predetermined road route at a speed of approximately 20 kilometers per hour and recorded all groups of ungulates observed on both sides of the sample line. We focused on recording the spatial distribution of five important ungulates, including the Tibetan wild donkey (<i>Equus kiang</i>), Tibetan antelope (<i>Pantholops Hodgsonii</i>), Tibetan gazelle (<i>Procapra picicaudata</i>), and wild yak (<i>Bos mutus</i>), forming a wild animal point distribution dataset. This dataset provides the latitude and longitude coordinates of the occurrence points and the number of occurrences, providing important data support for ecological research and wildlife conservation work in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau ecosystem.
