Paths of the Historical Center identified by the P.E.B.A.

The Municipality of Genoa, in implementation of Law No 41 of 28 February 1986, with Resolution (DGC) No 143 of 14 July 2016, began the process of drafting the Plan for the Elimination of Architectural Barriers (P.E.B.A.), which ended with approval by the Municipal Executive (DGC) No 23 of 11 February 2021. The P.E.B.A. of Genoa analyses the municipal territory from the point of view of motor and sensory accessibility, dividing it into 94 Areas, i.e. portions of territory where the most important public functions of interest to the citizen are concentrated, returning a map with 4 colours depending on the degree of presence or absence of architectural barriers.
