Influence — Listing of MEPs’ hearings for their reports

Transparency International France and Regards Citoyens agreed in July 2010 on an original partnership, to deliver together to the public debate and to the French, new information on the known meetings between MPs and public and private actors. If this information is all public, it is presented here in an unprecedented way in order to be accessible to all. They are intended to be refined, in a collaborative process, with the desired assistance of all those interested in the functioning of public life. 1,174 parliamentary reports were reviewed with the help of more than 3,000 Internet users. Between July 2007 and July 2010, 9,300 hearings of nearly 5000 organisations, represented by more than 16,000 people, were recorded.From the outset we can see, the figures are very far from the some 120 interest representatives registered in March 2011 in the official register of the National Assembly!
