Diagnostic and differential diagnostic value of plasma extracellular vesicle-associated miRNAs in AIDS patients with tuberculosis and non-tuberculous mycobacterial infection

This dataset accompanies the manuscript entitled Diagnostic and differential diagnostic value of plasma extracellular vesicle-associated miRNAs in AIDS patients with tuberculosis and non-tuberculous mycobacterial infection. We identified differentially expressed plasma extracellular vesicle-derived miRNAs among three groups of AIDS patients, namely the tuberculosis infection group, non-tuberculous mycobacterial infection group and control group. Candidate miRNAs were validated by qPCR assays. This Zenodo repository contains de-identified clinical sample information, analysis results of differentially expressed miRNAs, qPCR datasets and uncropped original western blot (WB) images. The dataset is licensed under CC-BY 4.0 and set with a 3-year embargo to support verification during peer review. All personally identifiable patient information has been removed to protect patient privacy, and this study was approved by the institutional ethics committee.
