Plastic and microplastics in floodplain soils of the Lahn river catchment (Hesse, Germany)

This dataset contains all raw data from the investigation of plastic and microplastic concentrations in the floodplain soils of the river Lahn (Hesse, Germany). This includes (1) the microplastic concentrations and soil parameters (e.g. grain size), (2) the microplastic particle properties and (3) the results of the 210Pb and 137Cs dating. All data was recorded in 2020. Information of sampling sites can be found in Weber and Opp (2020): https://doi.org/10.1016/j.envpol.2020.115390.
