Domestic herbivore virome and phylogenetic tree

To elucidate the virome and ecological features of herbivorous livestock in China, this study analyzed 5,679 healthy cattle, yaks, sheep, goats, bactrian camels, and horses from 128 surveillance sites across major pastoral regions, including Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Qinghai, Gansu and Shaanxi province. Using deep learning and sequence similarity approaches, we constructed the "Domestic Herbivorous Livestock Virome of China (DhCN-Virome)", comprising 1,085,360 RNA and DNA viral sequences using two viromic methods. RNA viral sequences were generated by Meta-transcriptome (MTT) method, and DNA viral sequences are generated by the Multiple Displacement Amplification (MDA )method. The viral sequence of DhCN-Virome is provided here. We construct phylogenetic tree for vertebrate-related viruses at the family or class level, and here are the viral sequence files, intermediate files, and final tree files for constructing the phylogenetic tree.
