This dataset provides the spatial distribution data of land use types in Changsha County, Changsha City, Hunan Province in 2016. The data is in vector format, with attribute fields including land code and land type, among others. The secondary land use types include paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glaciers and snow-covered areas, tidal flats, beach land, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sandy land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Among these, cultivated land (i.e., the paddy fields and dry lands mentioned above) is further classified based on landforms into four sub-types: mountainous, hilly, plain, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The data has a scale of 1:100,000.
