Ancient hybridization in stump-tailed macaque (Macaca arctoides) and admixture in macaques inferred from whole genome sequences

We report the genome sequences of two stump-tailed macaque (Macaca arctoides) and one Assamese macaque (M. assamensis), and assembled a dataset of nine sequenced macaque genomes to investigate the evolutionary history and admixture among macaques.
