Foreword
Please read the following carefully:
All the amounts in the cadastre can be found in the ‘Table’ tab.
The data are not in the ‘one row = a grant’ format
. Due to certain constraints when consolidating the data, each line represents a grant tranche paid in 2022. This means that one and the same grant paid in three instalments (e.g.)
will correspond to three rows in the table.
Negative amounts are reimbursements from beneficiaries. For ONE, negative amounts mainly result from transfers between articles
budget of the same nature, i.e. “Reception Subsides” between the private sector B632.10 & public B632.11. They were unable to group together the calculations for these few lines due to a lack of time.
Apart from the Tableau module, the display on the site has certain limitations:
For postal codes: not all of them are in the proposed list in the Filters field due to their large number. This field shows only the 100 postal codes that include:
the highest number of grants.
Similarly, for ‘infobulles’ in the ‘Map’ tab, it will only be possible to show the information of the first 100 grants (starting from the highest amount). For example: the
municipality ‘X’ presents 750 grants. By clicking on the infobulle, information about (inter alia) the beneficiary and the amount of the grant is displayed. Only the first 100 will be reviewed.
grants.
This does not mean that the subsidy does not exist. The information can be found in the main table, where you can isolate different data using the filters (on the left side of the screen) and
of TRIS (in the headings of the columns of the table).
You can also export all data in various formats via the Export tab, for consultation, statistics or analysis purposes.
The document “Method of use of data”
is intended to assist the user in understanding the data criteria related to grants published on this portal.
The Grant Cadastre:
The transparency of the subsidies granted by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation is one of the government’s priorities.
On 18 January 2018, the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation adopted a
Decree establishing a subsidy register in the French Community
.
This decree lists all the information relating to the subsidies awarded in the French Community, which must be provided in a report, including all the grants awarded between 1 January and
31 December of the previous year, which will be sent to Parliament on 15 June of the current year. The cadastre is open data on the portal.

within 15 calendar days of transmission of the report to Parliament.
The grant register is part of a desire to ensure transparency in the award of subsidies paid by all subsidiary bodies under the auspices of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation: the
Government, Ministers, Administration Services, including Self-Accounting Administrative Services (SACA) and legal persons governed by public law created by or subordinate to the French Community,
including the legal structures established within the latter, when they grant, from their own budget, subsidies financed in whole or in part from resources made available to them by the Community.
French.
This land register contains the subsidies paid during the 2022 financial year.
