Community Index Real-World Demo

This dataset contains anonymized, publication-level collaboration metadata used to demonstrate the Community Index (C-index), a supplementary metric designed to quantify per-paper collaboration diversity across gender, nationality, and specialization dimensions.

The data were derived from publication records accessed via the Dimensions database. Only non-identifiable, aggregated metadata fields are included. All author identifiers and publication identifiers have been deterministically anonymized. No raw proprietary data, author names, DOIs, or affiliation text are distributed.

Two independent cohorts (Cohort A and Cohort B) are included to illustrate metric behavior across collaboration structures of different sizes and diversity compositions.

The dataset is intended solely for methodological demonstration and reproducibility of the C-index calculation framework. Full data extraction scripts, anonymization procedures, and calculation logic are available in the associated GitHub repository.
