The colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata) is an insect pest that threatens potato crops globally. Various methods have been used to control its damage on potato plants including the use of insecticides. This work was undertaken with the overarching goal of better characterising the molecular changes associated with spinosad insecticide response in this insect.
