School Teachers' Reflection on Emergency Remote Teaching-Learning: Indian Dataset

The unprecedented gravity of crisis caused by Covid-19 has impacted every sphere of life and education is one of the worst affected which may have long lasting effects on society. With the nationwide lockdown being enforced, all teachers were thrown into a new unforeseen, unprecedented situation without any mental preparation. The teachers at the school level were struggling hard to cope-up with the situation either with institutional support or even without it. Our research aim was how the teachers are reflecting on their response to such Emergency Remote Teaching-learning. The information was obtained from Indian teachers who usually taught any school subject at the secondary level in a school in West Bengal, India, and those who were forced to start online or remote teaching-learning owing to the abrupt suspension of school hours. A four point Likert scale was used for collecting data.
