Bacterial microbial diversity in coastal aquaculture sediments

This study focused on Sanggou Bay, the largest aquaculture region in northern China, and conducted seasonal surveys across non-fed low-density oyster farming areas (OL), non-fed high-density oyster farming areas (OH), artificially-fed sea cucumber farming areas (AM), and control sites (CN). The study collected surface sediments (0-4 cm) from different areas for 16S rRNA analysis, targeting the V3-V4 region for amplification.
