METOCEAN drifters (I-SPHERE and I-CODE) near the Taylor site and the Mississippi Delta as part of Taylor experiment, in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2017-04-18 to 2017-05-10

Trajectories from METOCEAN drifters (I-SPHERE and I-CODE) were tracked in real-time using GPS units, launched near the Taylor Energy site just offshore of the Mississippi Delta on April 18 (I-SPHERE) and April 23 (I-CODE), 2017 as a collaboration of two GoMRI projects: “Influence of river induced fronts on hydrocarbon transport” and “CARTHE”. Drifter positions are provided starting from launching time to Apr 26 for I-SPHERE and to May 10 for I-CODE.
