Data and Code for “Subsurface Storage Capacity Controls on Tree Ring Sensitivity to Precipitation" R2.1

This supplement includes a Python notebook and an R file that reproduce the figures and analyze the tree-ring and climate data used in the manuscript, as well as a metadata file describing information about the tree ring data included in the study. In order to execute the code, users should have an Earth Engine account and obtain the raw CRN files from the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information repository (https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/pub/data/paleo/treering/chronologies), available as a compressed archive file (itrdb-v713-usa-crn.zip).
