Multi-pronged CAR-T cells to eliminate Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma

Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma (CTCL) is a cancer of T cell lymphocytes that affects the skin. To date, CTCL remains incurable and patients with advanced stages face poor prognosis. CAR-T cell is a novel immune-based therapy that has revolutionized the treatment landscape for blood cancer. This thesis sets out to explore the potential translation of CAR-T therapy for treating CTCL. By identifying specific tumour markers and investigating CAR-T efficacy in killing CTCL tumour cells, this study contributes to ongoing efforts to enhance outcomes for patients afflicted by this aggressive disease.
