资源简介:
We obtained data from 497 deliverymen from two delivery platforms in China, namely Meituan and Eleme. We first express the voluntary nature of participation as well as the statistical and internal research purposes of this investigation to them, providing assurance that their survey information will be kept confidential and anonymous. In order to reduce the influence of potential common-method bias (Podsakoff et al., 2012), surveys were distributed at three separate time points. At time 1, 497 participants rated their demographic characteristics, guiding algorithmic control, and moral identity. At time 2 (two weeks after time 1), the 497 deliverymen filled in a follow-up questionnaire assessing their moral disengagement. Then, at time 3 (two weeks after time 2), the 497 deliverymen assessed their service sabotage. We matched responses across 3 time periods with the last four digits of each deliveryman’s phone number (e.g., 0122). The final sample included 382 matched effective questionnaires, yielding a response rate of 76.86%.
