Gas Distribution System Overlapping Polygons in Kentucky

The areas of overlap are derived by creating geodatabase topology from the data for Natural Gas Distribution Service Areas. This is created by using tools from Data Management / Topology, which are: Create Topology, Add Rule to Topology, Add Feature Class to Topology, and then Export Topology Errors. This data is useful for symbolizing maps, or checking the appearance of overlapping symbolization. The user may want to select areas that cover a significant amount of area.
