Salinisphaera shabanensis E1L3A genome sequencing. Salinisphaera shabanensis E1L3A
收藏资源简介:
Salinisphaera shabanensis was isolated from the brine-seawater interface of the Shaban Deep, and represents a new, deeply branching lineage within the Gammaproteobacteria currently recognized as the order "Salinisphaerales". The broad growth range and physiological flexibility of S. shabanensis suggests that it thrives in a broader environmental range that would include the brine-seawater interface, but might extend to the water column and the brine itself, constituting a possible advantage in such a harsh environment. Exposure to drastic changes in physico-chemical conditions observed in the brine-seawater interface would require the capability to cope with multiple stresses.
