Eye on the Reef

These programs enable people from all walks of life — Marine Park rangers, marine tourism staff, scientist, fishers, tourists and other reef users — to report their Reef sightings and observations to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.

The information collected through the Eye on the Reef program is combined in a single data management and reporting system which enables participants to access their own data and reporting online. This data provides Marine Park managers and researchers with up-to-date information on reef health status and trends, the distribution of protected and iconic species, and early warnings of environmental impacts.

The Eye on the Reef program is run by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. The Reef Health and Impact Survey sub-program is run in partnership with the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service.

本系列程序面向社会各界人士——包括海洋公园护林员（Marine Park rangers）、海洋旅游从业者、科研人员、渔民、游客及其他珊瑚礁使用者——使其可向大堡礁海洋公园管理局（Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority）上报其在珊瑚礁区域的目击情况与观测记录。

通过"Reef之眼"项目（Eye on the Reef program）收集的信息将被整合至统一的数据管理与上报系统中，该系统支持参与者在线调取自身提交的数据与上报记录。此类数据可为海洋公园管理者与科研人员提供珊瑚礁健康状况及变化趋势、受保护物种与旗舰物种的分布情况，以及环境影响的早期预警等最新信息。

"Reef之眼"项目由大堡礁海洋公园管理局（Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority）运营；其珊瑚礁健康与影响调查子项目（Reef Health and Impact Survey sub-program）则与昆士兰公园与野生动物服务局（Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service）联合开展。
