Modular 3D-printable resolution phantom for magnetic resonance imaging
收藏资源简介:
Modular CAD model (STL format) for 3D-printing of a resolution phantom for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The cylindrical phantom (inner diameter 154 mm, height 44 mm) contains a central cuboid (140 mm x 30 mm x 17 mm) with diagonally opposite slots (2-mm wide, 8-mm deep) at angles of +13° and -13° in the top and bottom plane, respectively. Additional rods are arranged in four rows (rod spacing 10 mm). Each row contains 11 rods, whose diameters increase from 1.0 to 3.5 mm in steps of 0.25 mm. Two air-filled hollow cylinders (inner diameters of 2 and 3 mm; wall thickness 1 mm) can be optionally added. Each cylinder is mounted with four M3 nylon screws and serves as potential source of magnetic field perturbation (e.g. when testing echo-planar imaging sequences). Another holder allows to add a 40-mm ping-pong ball for the same purpose. The top and bottom plates are secured each with 24 M4 nylon screws and sealed with a 158 mm x 3 mm O-ring (FPM 75). The M6 filling screw is sealed with a 6 mm x 2 mm O-ring (NBR 70).
