Raw sequencing reads from Colaphellus bowringi ovaries treated with exogenous 20E.

We reared Colaphellus bowringi under conditions of 25 degrees centigrade and a long-day photoperiod (16L:8D) until the pupal stage, at which point males and females were separated. Newly emerged adult females were selected and injected with an appropriate dose of 20-Hydroxyecdysone (20E). A control group was injected with DMSO dissolved in PBS. Ovaries were dissected on the fourth day after adult eclosion, and samples exhibiting typical developmental characteristics were collected for RNA extraction. The extracted RNA, after passing concentration and quality assessments, was sent to BGI-Shenzhen (China) for transcriptome sequencing.
