A price survey of a single microwave oven across the nation revealed that the average price in October 2024 was 84,208 yen. During the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a span of 118 months), the month with the highest price for a microwave oven within the national supermarkets was October 2015, at 119,191 yen, whereas the month with the lowest price was June 2022, at 68,940 yen. The price difference between the peak (October 2015) and the lowest (June 2022) value periods for the microwave oven across the national area was 50,250.7234 yen.
