Ouse and Derwent Project 2019 - Trench 2

Trench 2 at Wheldrake revealed one small and two very large linear features. In the end we didn't have time to excavate these, but they confirmed the geophysical survey results -- these features are the enclosure ditches surrounding the round-house settlement.
