Effects of manganese oxide amendments on greenhouse gas emissions and the methanogenic archaeal community in paddy soil

In this study, three manganese oxides—birnessite, vernadite and lithiophorite, commonly found in manganese slag—were added to paddy soil in an indoor incubation experiment under alternating light-dark conditions. The fluxes of greenhouse gas emissions and the composition of the archaeal community were analyzed.本研究中，将锰渣中常见的三种锰氧化物——水钠锰矿（birnessite）、纤锰矿（vernadite）和锂硬锰矿（lithiophorite）——添加至水稻土中，开展明暗交替条件下的室内培养试验，并分析了温室气体排放通量与古菌群落组成。
