CTD data salinity, temperature, depth collected aboard the R/V Point Sur cruise PS25_17 (DP10, in-situ deep seawater and associated fauna) in the Gulf of Mexico from 2025-04-22 to 2025-05-02

Deep water sampling of in situ seawater and associated fauna (cruise DP10, 2025-04-22 - 2025-05-02) aboard the R/V Point Sur (cruise PS25_17) in an area roughly encompassing 27.8°N to 29°N and 87°W to 88.5°W. This dataset includes the salinity, temperature, and depth data from the ship's CTD, which was deployed at each of the DEEPEND stations. The depth of the casts vary but extends from near-surface waters to below the euphotic zone. These data are used in the assessment of the water column's vertical structure and for comparison with physical models. The DP10 CTD dataset includes the raw CTD files from the ship's Seabird 911 plus CTD, which can be reprocessed using the Seabird SBE-Data Processing software.
