5' end sequecing of Paulinella micropora's transcripts

Paulinella micropora is a novel amoeba possessing an unique photosynthetic organelle, which have been evolved relatively recently by endosymbiosis of cyanobacteria. To gain insight how the endosymbiotically transferred genes from the organelle have acquired the expression competence in the nucleus, 5' end sequencing of the cap-trapper cDNA library and the genomic sequencing of P. micropora culture were performed.The organism name in this project was changed from Paulinella chromatophora to Paulinella micropora according to taxonomic renaming.
