Vesicular stomatitis virus transcriptomic response in Culicoides sonorensis cells (W8 cells)

Arbroviruses are viruses that are transmitted by arthropods. This class of viruses have evolved to successfully navigate both the invertebrate and vertebrate hosts, including their immune systems. Some biting midges transmit several arboviruses, including vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV). This project utilizes one biting midges, Culicoides sonorensis, cells, (i.e. W8 cell line), running a time series RNA-seq experiment of both VSV infected and uninfected cells.
