Replication Data for: Five hundred years of anthropogenic mercury: spatial and temporal release profiles

This repository contains an inventory of mercury released by human activities over the 500 year period from 1510-2010. The inventory distinguishes releases to air from those to land and water. Estimates are constructed for 7 world regions and provided in 10 year intervals. All releases are in units of megagrams of mercury per year (Mg/a).
