Smoking Behavior

The data describe the smoking behaviour in North Rhine-Westphalia, which was collected as part of the NRW Health Survey. The NRW Health Survey is an annual, representative telephone survey of the population in North Rhine-Westphalia. The proportion of daily and occasionally smokers and non-smokers is reported in percent. In addition, the respective shares are reported according to the social status. In addition, the percentage of respondents is represented by the number of cigarettes smoked daily. Among smoked other tobacco products are cigars, stumps, cigarillos and pipes.
