资源简介:
Eucalypts, one of the most preferred hardwood species occupies 22 million ha plantation area globallyowing to their short rotation, rapid growth, adaptability and wood properties. MicroRNAs regulate geneexpression in many biological processes; however, the role of miRNAs in regulating the genes of woodformation is largely unexplored in Eucalyptus tereticornis. The present study was undertaken tounderstand the molecular regulation of wood formation by documenting the post-transcriptionalregulation of secondary development in E. tereticornis. This study provides an insight into the role of miRNAs in potentially regulating wood formation in E. tereticornis.
