Vertical (Doppler) velocities of the solar granulation: a comparison between the MHD simulation and Hinode observations at two wavelengths

We present a scientific dataset allowing to investigate the vertical flows of the solar granulation in the photosphere. For that purpose, we used results of a MHD numerical simulation and several sequences of observations from Hinode (JAXA/NASA), at two wavelengths and at disk centre. The simulation and observations appear to be in close agreement. 5-min oscillations filtered sequences of intensities, velocities and magnetic fields are available in FITS format for further research.
