Fossil fish housed at the Museum fur Naturkunda have shown soft tissue preservation of internal structures, such as the heart, in fossil coelocanthe relatives. Labsource CT imaging is unable to resolve sufficient resolution to study these structures and so propagation phase contrast imaging is needed.
