The data was produced by the laboratory experiment, in which C. chinensis males with various genital morphology interfered with the reproduction of C. maculatus females through interspecific copulation, which does not result in hybridization. The table includes the strain of the C. chinensis males, C. maculatus female fecundity and elytral length, the occurrence of externally identifiable genital injury in C. maculatus females, and morphological dimensions of the genitalia of C. chinensis males.
