Regional Disparities in Higher Education Investment Efficiency in China: An Integrated Two-Stage DEA-DOLS Analytical Framework

This study constructs a two-stage Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model and uses MAXDEA9 to measure the overall efficiency of higher education investment, talent cultivation efficiency, and achievement transformation efficiency in 31 provinces of China from 2014 to 2023. At the same time, the dynamic ordinal least squares (DOLS) model is used to calculate the significant impact of external factors on the overall efficiency and efficiency of each sub stage.
