BPE 76 Services Commerce 2020

The permanent equipment database (BPE) is a statistical database maintained by INSEE which lists a wide range of equipment and services, market and non-market, accessible to the public throughout France on 1 January each year. In 2020, it covers 188 different types of services and equipment, divided into seven main areas: personal services, shops, education, health-social, transport-travel, sports-leisure-culture and tourism. The BPE is built from various administrative sources. It gathers data on points of access to services intended for the population, or "equipment", located at geographical levels for the purposes of: municipalities, sub-municipal territories (Iris) and coordinates (x,y) for most types of equipment. The extract from the database proposed here concerns certain businesses, services and administrations in Seine-Maritime in 2020. An interactive table allowing a consultation of the database by municipality, inter-municipality and type of equipment is also available on this site. The method used to identify centres from the diversity of shops and services is that of mixed automatic classification. This typology was carried out on the municipalities of metropolitan France 2019 and from INSEE 2017's permanent equipment base.
